Due to growth we are seeking four experienced Art Handler/MR Truck drivers with sensitive freight or high end removals experience for a full time role in our branch located at Mascot.

To be successful in this role applicants need to have:

  • Experience in Art Handling, Sensitive Freight or high-end removals
  • Physically fit and capable of performing the manual aspects of the role
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation
  • MR Drivers Licence preferred. (We will consider upgrading your licence to MR for the right applicant).

About the role
Due to unprecedented growth we are seeking experienced Art Handlers and Art Crating technicians.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be working in a team of very experienced technicians.

Benefits and perks
Fulltime position with base remuneration range $59,280 – $73,112 pa plus super & overtime, based on skills & experience.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in handling artworks &/or museum objects
  • Experience in museum standard crate construction, interior fitout & packing of artworks and objects
  • Carpentry, joinery and or framing skills
  • Physically fit and capable of performing the manual aspects of the role
  • Attention to detail
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills, the ability to collaborate with team members and key stakeholders on complex projects
  • Driver’s License preferred
  • Fork Lift Licence is an advantage
  • Good presentation

Our shippers manage specific shipments from end to end in conjunction with our overseas agents and take full responsibility for every component of the task.

We are seeking the services of experienced export/import staff who have managed exhibitions, concert freight, or other bespoke services by air and by sea.

This role is for someone with all round export/import experience in a bespoke environment.

You will know what fits an aircraft pallet or a seafreight container off the top of your head.

Good sales, customer service, written and verbal communication skills are imperative as you will be dealing direct with clients on a daily basis.
