TED Fine Art Australia is the pre-eminent art handling, crating/packing and Installations provider to the art industry in Australia.
We specialise in the safe handling of fine art, antiques and museum objects of all kinds to museums, galleries, private and corporate collections.
About the roles
Due to unprecedented growth we are seeking Art Handlers to undertake art handling, packing and installation.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be working in a team of skilled technicians who are able to lead and train to expand on your existing skillset.
Benefits and perks
Fulltime position with base remuneration salary plus super & overtime. Salary will be negotiated based on skills & experience.
Skills and experience we look for
- Experience in handling
- Experience in installations
- Experience in packing artworks &/or museum objects
- Experience in crate construction
- Carpentry, joinery and or framing skills
- Physically fit and capable of performing the manual aspects of the role
- Attention to detail
- Sound written and verbal communication skills, the ability to collaborate with team members and key stakeholders on complex projects
- Driver’s License preferred
- Fork Lift Licence is an advantage
- Good presentation
- A national police check will be undertaken for successful applicants

- Experience in either sensitive freight/office relocations/furniture removals or art handling
- Physically fit and capable of performing the manual aspects of the role
- Great customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation
- Attention to detail
- Minimum MR truck drivers licence required
